NEO Houston is where it all started. Founded in 2013, NE0 Houston hosts free public events and activities nearly every week in addition to our considerable nonprofit outdoor education and conservation programming for schools and communities.

NEO Austin was launched just as COVID was taking hold of the country. We dug into garden and conservation programming throughout the pandemic and are now growing our programming and leadership base using NEO Houston as a model.
NEO has always been radically inclusive of all people. Early on, we began hosting events promoting cultural diversity, appreciation, and understanding. This led to our Cultural Cooking initiative. The Hill Country Cultural Cooking Club was formed as part of that delicious tradition.
